COLUMNS AND STIFFENERS
In addition to increasing the silo strength, columns transfer the normal exerted force on the silo to the foundation. To this end, galvanized columns with a thickness ranging from 2 to 8 mm with a resistance of 450 mpa are used. After bending and cutting, columns and stiffeners are coated with Z-600 gr/m2 (G-210) via hot dip galvanizing process.
